The Learning Agreement Pilot
Help does not end once your vacancies have been successfully filled. Part of Connexions’ ongoing service to employers is the Learning Agreement Pilot.
The Learning Agreement is an £8.8 million Government funded initiative, which is completely free to Lancashire employers. The new scheme has been set up to support businesses in retaining their young employees by offering free accredited training for 16-17 year olds. Benefits include:
- A £250 bonus in recognition of your support for each young person who completes the Learning Agreement Plan
- Assistance to identify the skills and training needs of your company
- An individual training package tailored to meet your company’s requirements
- Free professional support and guidance in the workplace from a Connexions Personal Adviser.
There is no cost for training from you as an employer – all you need to invest is some time, patience and support.
